Steve Waugh has extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the defense sector. Currently serving as Engineer and Senior S&T Manager at DTRA since June 2007, Steve focuses on operational support and advanced concept experiments for Joint Service Counter WMD initiatives. Prior to this, from January 1996 to June 2007, Steve worked with the Missile Defense Agency as Branch Chief in the Systems Engineering and Advanced C2BMC Concepts and Experiments divisions. Additionally, Steve has a background as Deputy CIO for Information Management within the MDA and led multiple projects for SDIO, BMDO, and MDA programs. Steve's early career includes a position as an engineer in the US Army from 1986 to 1989. Educational qualifications include a BS and BA in Electrical Engineering and International Relations from Lehigh University, a Masters in Management of Technology from The Wharton School, a National Security Studies degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a seminar completion at Syracuse University.
