Gwendolyn Bamford serves as the Branch Chief for Technical Integration at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since August 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating research and development for specialized equipment and software to support contingency operations against WMDs and CBRN threats. Previous experience includes roles as a CBRN Planner for Joint Task Force Civil Support, and various leadership positions in the US Army, including Chemical Officer and Emergency Manager for the Military District of Washington, Company Commander for the 1st Battalion 48th Infantry Regiment, and team leadership in CBRNE response units. Gwendolyn Bamford holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Georgetown University and a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Webster University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from George Mason University.
