Janelle Donnelly has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Janelle started their career in 1996 as a Liaison Officer at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. Janelle then worked as a Senior Environmental Planner at Golder Associates from 1998 to 2000. In 2001, they joined Gold Peg International Pty Ltd as a Project Manager. From 2004 to 2011, they worked at the Port of Melbourne Corporation in various roles, including Project Management and Advisory. In 2011, they became the Company Owner of Gold Peg International Pty Ltd until 2015. Janelle also served as the General Manager of Port Community at the Port of Melbourne Corporation from 2011 to 2015. Janelle's most recent work experiences include being the Director of Innovation & Partnerships at DefendTex since 2015, Co-Founder of Cooe App since 2017, Co-Founder of MetaScent since 2018, and President of Council at Mentone Girls' Grammar School since 2019.
Janelle Donnelly has a diverse education history. Janelle obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law in 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Monash University in 2007. Janelle holds a Master of Applied Law with a specialization in Maritime Law from The University of Queensland, completed in 2001. In 1996, Janelle earned a Graduate Diploma of Applied Science in Environmental Management from Deakin University. Janelle began their educational journey at Victoria University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Urban Studies in 1992. Janelle completed their High School Certificate (HSC) at Kilvington Grammar in 1986.
