Odette Keegan has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Odette currently works as a Delivery Lead at DEFEND LTD. starting from 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director at Handcrafted Weddings Ltd since 2017.
Odette has also worked as a Human Resources Advisor at Waipuna Hospice Incorporated from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for implementing a new HRIS, developing and facilitating internal training material, and handling end-to-end recruitment.
Before joining Waipuna Hospice, Odette served as a Senior Project Manager at Vodafone New Zealand from 2015 to 2017. Odette'sresponsibilities included delivering technical capabilities for new consumer propositions in the fixed and mobile market.
Odette has also worked as a Project Manager at Spark New Zealand from 2014 to 2015, where they led a variety of complex IT and Telecommunication projects worldwide. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Project Manager at Gen-i from 2013 to 2014.
Earlier in their career, Odette worked as a Programme Coordinator at Telecom New Zealand from 2011 to 2013 and as a Training Programme Coordinator at Gen-i from 2010 to 2011. Odette also has experience as a Training Coordinator at Priority Management from 2006 to 2008 and as an Administration Assistant at Pacific Training from 2005 to 2007.
Odette Keegan completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington between 2005 and 2007. In 2015, they obtained the Prince2 Registered Practitioner Certificate in Project Management from Auldhouse. Odette also received the Prince2 Foundation Certificate in Project Management from Auldhouse in the same year. From 2013 to 2018, Odette pursued their Project Management studies at the Project Management Institute, earning the CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Management credential. In 2013, they earned a First Aid Refresher certificate from St John. Additionally, Odette completed a course on Quality for Project Managers at THE GEÂÜÀòÂÒÂ×E WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY in 2011. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Human Resources from Victoria University of Wellington, which they obtained during their tenure from 2005 to 2007. Lastly, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington from 2004 to 2006.
