Michael Wadley is a seasoned leader in education and training, currently serving as Head of the Learning, Capability and Development Group at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. Since July 2016, Michael has successfully overseen a team of over 80 individuals, focusing on strategic direction for training and education while managing a budget exceeding £3 million. While in previous roles, Michael led initiatives such as the redesign of digital training programs and the management of Moodle for Defence. With a robust educational background, including a Master's degree in Education Leadership and Management from The Open University, along with experience in stakeholder engagement and international collaboration, Michael has consistently worked to enhance operational effectiveness and uphold equity and diversity values in defense training.
