Eddie Maylor has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1987 when they worked as a Lab Tech at Otter Controls. Eddie then joined Thomson Scientific in 1989 and held various roles, including Patent Analyst, Technical Trainer, and Training Consultant. In these positions, Eddie was responsible for training global employees, managing product knowledge development, and collaborating with business contacts to deliver timely updates to sales and customer-facing teams. Eddie also recruited and developed staff while expanding the department's portfolio. From 2008 to 2012, Eddie worked at Thomson Reuters as a Product Knowledge Manager, where they designed and delivered training programs for new staff and continued development of sales and customer-facing staff. Since 2014, Eddie has been working at Defaqto as a Customer Success Executive. In this role, they drive adoption and promotion of company products/services for Financial Advisers, delivers training and support materials, and ensures users realize measurable value.

Eddie Maylor pursued their education from 1985 to 1989 at the University of Wales, Cardiff, where they obtained a BSc degree in Polymer Chemistry & Technology. In addition, they obtained a certification titled "Can renewable energy sources power the world?" from The Open University in May 2020.
