Claire Steiner has a strong background in library services, with their most recent position being Head of Adult Services at the Deerfield Public Library. In this role, they managed a team and focused on staff growth and implementing innovative projects and services. Prior to that, Claire worked as a Reference Librarian at the Homewood Public Library, where they provided exceptional patron service and conducted training on ereaders and ebook platforms. Claire also served as the Information Services Manager at the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library District, where they managed multiple departments and built partnerships with local organizations. Claire began their career as a Branch Assistant at the Oak Park Public Library, where they provided extensive services to the public and implemented successful programs.

Claire Steiner attended Dominican University from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued a Master of Library and Information Science degree. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1999 to 2003, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commodity, Food, and Textile Marketing.
