Rohan Janjua has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering industry since 2012. In 2012, they were an Intern at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, where they manually curated DNA sequences and wrote Perl scripts. In 2013, they were an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they dealt with issues raised by airline staff at British Airways and tested and debugged iOS apps. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer in Test at QAWorks. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at comparethemarket.com and as a Test Architect at QAWorks, where they mentored, researched, developed and delivered high quality test automation solutions for clients. In 2018, they were a Program Test Lead at Emirates, where they were responsible for the testing strategy, and guiding the development of several test automation and manual testing solutions. In 2019, they took a Sabbatical Career Break, and then worked as a Developer in Test at Experian. Currently, they are a Software Engineer in Test at deepset.
Rohan Janjua began their educational journey in 2009, when they attended Queen Mary University of London and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2013. In 2017, they enrolled in Udacity and earned a Nanodegree in Deep Learning Foundations. Currently, they are attending MIT xPRO and studying System Thinking.
