Christos Kostoulas has diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles.
Christos currently works as the Data and Performance Lead at DeepSea Technologies since May 2023.
From October 2019 to May 2023, Christos worked at Navig8 Group as a Senior Vessel Performance Analyst. In this role, they designed an in-house web platform for performance monitoring, analyzed high frequency data, integrated different datasets, assessed hull degradation, built algorithms, and contributed to building IoT driven processes and procedures.
Before that, they worked as a Research Engineer at the Royal Institute of Technology from January 2019 to October 2019.
Christos also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Municipal Enterpises for Water Supply and Sewerage from December 2017 to August 2018.
Christos has experience as an Exchange Master Student from KTH to Tokyo University/MTI from September 2016 to May 2017.
From June 2012 to June 2014, they served as a Programme Manager at Carbon Positive.
Additionally, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at MM Marine Integrated Systems from August 2010 to June 2012.
Christos also has military experience, serving as a Noncommissioned Special Forces Officer (Sergeant) in the Greek National Forces from May 2008 to April 2009.
Furthermore, they worked as an Undergraduate Engineer at PPC S.A. in June-August 2006 and June-August 2005.
Christos Kostoulas began their education in the year 2000 when they enrolled in the University of Patras. Christos pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics and completed their studies in 2010, obtaining a Dipl.-Ing. degree.
In 2012, Christos further pursued their education at the University of Piraeus, where they completed a Master's degree in Maritime Studies. Christos studied at the university until 2014, acquiring extensive knowledge in this field.
Moving forward, in 2014, Christos continued their educational journey at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. There, they pursued and successfully completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Naval Architecture. Christos'sstudies at KTH lasted until 2017.
In 2016, during their time at KTH, Christos had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills as a Master's Thesis Exchange Student at The University of Tokyo. This exchange program allowed him to delve deeper into the field of Naval Architecture by conducting their research and completing their thesis during their exchange student period, which lasted until 2017.
Finally, in June 2015, Christos obtained a certification as an Open Water Diver (OWD) from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). This certification demonstrates their proficiency in scuba diving.
