Alicia Barnes began their education at the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Alicia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English Literature and Nonfiction Writing during this time. After taking a break from their studies, Alicia returned to school in 2012 and attended Chatham University. Alicia completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree, specializing in Creative Nonfiction, in 2014.
