Giota Antonakaki is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Deeper Insights since June 2023, Antonakaki previously held the position of Senior Research Engineer and AI Team Lead at Vision RT Ltd, where responsibilities included technology development strategy implementation and project management coordination. Prior roles included Senior AI Research Engineer, where Antonakaki played a pivotal role in delivering AI projects, and Senior Research and Development Engineer at Aurora-AI, guiding teams in applying machine learning to diverse business challenges. Early career experience includes research positions at the University of Reading and the University of Bristol, as well as a PhD focused on semantic information extraction from events at the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos." Antonakaki holds a PhD in Computer Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
