Job description

Reporting to the CCO, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and performance management, helping shape and implement commercial initiatives that align with our ambitious goals and values. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong process orientation, entrepreneurial spirit and someone who can balance strategic insight with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the CCO to develop and implement the commercial strategy, ensuring clear, actionable goals that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Sales Operations Management: Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end sales operations function, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and resource allocation. Work closely with sales leaders to ensure process-driven execution, holding the team to high-performance standards while fostering an open, ego-free environment.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Develop and oversee commercial performance metrics and KPI’s, using data to uncover insights that drive revenue growth. Develop and implement a process-oriented approach to reporting and analytics to ensure the CCO and other stakeholders have access to meaningful and real-time insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Take a proactive approach to identify and implement best practice, refine sales and operational processes to support scalability. Demonstrate a hands-on, no-task-too-small mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency across the team and willing to roll up your sleeves where needed.
  • Budget & Resource Allocation: Work closely with finance to manage the commercial budget, monitoring expenditures to ensure effective, action-focused resource allocation. Collaborate with the CCO to balance ambition with practicality in growth planning.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Serve as a bridge between sales, marketing, product, and finance, facilitating effective communication and alignment on objectives and results.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor and grow a team of commercial operations professionals, building a culture rooted in humility, resilience, and continuous improvement. Actively inspire the team to be proactive, curious, and ready to take on challenges with a bias toward action and innovation.

What you will need 

  • Extensive experience in commercial operations, sales operation, or business operations roles, preferably in high-growth or entrepreneurial settings
  • Demonstrable success in designing and implementing scalable commercial strategies that drive revenue
  • Excellent analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, reporting, and financial forecasting; able to turn insights into actionable initiatives
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels while fostering a collaborative, ego-free culture
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales tools, and analytics platforms
  • Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced, action-orientated environment
