Bilal Shaikh possesses extensive experience in bioinformatics and computational biology, currently serving at Deep Origin as a developer for the Operating System for Biology since August 2022. Previously, Bilal worked at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from July 2019 to August 2022 as a Bioinformatician, contributing to the accessibility of biological simulations through a dedicated cloud platform, Kubernetes management, and scalable microservices architecture. Bilal's early career included multiple research roles at prestigious institutions, including Columbia University and Rutgers University, focusing on various biological and chemical research projects. Bilal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Computer Science from Columbia University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
