Stephane Abergel has extensive experience in the offshore energy industry, holding various leadership roles in major companies. Stephane is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at DeepOcean. Prior to this, they worked at Subsea 7, where they served as the VP Middle East, VP Asia, and VP Sales & Marketing Africa & Gulf of Mexico. Stephane also held the position of Director Sales Marketing Africa & Mediterranean region at ACERGY SA and was the Managing Director at SONAMET. Earlier in their career, they worked at Saipem and Bouygues offshore, where they held various positions of increasing seniority. Their experience includes leading geographical expansions, establishing key cooperation agreements, securing major projects, and achieving significant business growth. Stephane has a strong track record of delivering successful projects, improving margins, and driving strategic development.

Stephane Abergel earned an Engineer's degree in Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, from 1987 to 1990.
