Ryan Vaupel currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Deep Instinct, a cybersecurity company focused on a prevention-first strategy against ransomware and malware, since May 2023. Prior to this role, Vaupel held the position of SVP Global Operations at ZIMPERIUM from September 2020 to May 2023, where leadership included oversight of various shared services teams. Other notable positions include VP Global Sales Strategy & Operations at Zerto, Vice President at ACLIVITI, Area Sales Director at Commvault, and several roles at VCE, including Sr Director of Sales for the Americas. Additionally, Vaupel served as Regional Manager at Juniper Networks and Account Manager at EMC, starting a career in Integrated Solutions at AT&T. Vaupel holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business and a BS in Computer Science from Indiana State University.
