Victor Castanera has extensive work experience in the field of product development and industrial design. Victor is currently serving as the Head of Product Development at DEDON since September 2022. Prior to this, Victor worked as a Freelance Designer and Product Development Consultant at their own studio, Victor Castanera Studio, from September 2016 onwards. Victor also gained valuable experience as a Senior Furniture Developer at BD Barcelona Design from July 2018 to August 2022. Victor has previously worked as an Industrial Designer at MOS from March 2017 to June 2018 and as a Furniture Designer at Markus Johansson Studio from February 2016 to July 2016. Victor started their career as a Color&Trim Designer at SEAT, S.A. from November 2014 to November 2015 and gained practical experience as an Industrial Designer at Alsesa from November 2011 to August 2012.

Victor Castanera's education history is as follows:

From 2008 to 2010, they attended Maristes Sants-Les Corts where they pursued a Batxillerat tecnologic degree.

In 2008, they also enrolled in Elisava and graduated in 2012 with a Graduado superior en Diseño degree in the field of Diseño industrial.

Victor furthered their education at the University of Southampton in an unspecified period of time before completing their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in an unknown field of study in 2012.

From 2014 to 2016, they attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they obtained a Master en disseny i enginyeria del desenvolupament de producte degree.

Victor also studied at the Politecnico di Milano, but information regarding the dates and degree obtained is unavailable. Nevertheless, it can be assumed that they pursued studies in the field of disegno del prodotto.
