Sheetal Maharaj has a strong background in marketing and leadership roles. Sheetal is currently working as the Vice President of Global Marketing at Dedoco since July 2022. Previously, they served as the Head of Marketing, APAC and LATAM at Pepperstone from April 2021 to July 2022. From September 2019 to October 2020, Sheetal worked as the Head of Marketing at Vault IQ, where they played a vital role in developing marketing strategies and campaigns, improving customer engagement and retention, and launching new products.

Before that, Sheetal worked at Telstra as the Go to Market Lead, Digital Transformation, where they were responsible for delivering a digitally transformed global value chain. Sheetal also held the position of Marketing Director at Finch (Australia), where they contributed to improving the development of the product and customer journey mapping.

Sheetal Maharaj has diverse experience in different industries such as technology, finance, and insurance. Sheetal has also worked at RACV as a Product Manager, Bike Portfolio in a contract role, and at Friendsurance Australia as the Head of Customer Acquisition. In these roles, they successfully implemented marketing strategies, developed brand propositions, and launched new products.

Earlier in their career, Sheetal worked at AGL Energy as a Senior Product Manager, Programs, and at GE Capital as the Head of Insurance Marketing for Australia and New Zealand. Sheetal also served as a Marketing Manager, Diversified at Medibank, where they successfully improved the performance of the Diversified portfolio through digital strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.

Sheetal Maharaj completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Marketing and Operations Management from The University of Auckland, from 2001 to 2004. Sheetal also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from The University of Auckland, with an obtained month of January and year of 2010.
