Jason Scherer started their work experience in 2010 as a Production Technician at Dedicated Computing. Jason then advanced to roles such as Design Technician, Software Technician, and Software Engineer I before becoming a Software Engineer II. At Dedicated Computing, they developed RESTful APIs and a computer hardware testing application that significantly reduced testing time. Jason also delivered testing using Pytest on multiple scripts. Prior to that, Jason worked as a Team Lead Service Technician at Granite MEDSystems from 2006 to 2010.

Jason Scherer earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Hardware from Waukesha County Technical College in 2006. Jason also received an A+ Certification from CompTIA in the same year. From 2011 to 2014, Jason attended Waukesha County Technical College again and completed their Associate's Degree in Web and Software Development. In 2013, they obtained the CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute. Jason later pursued further education at Thomas Edison State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Jason earned a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp, completing the program from 2015 to 2020.
