James Paterson has extensive experience in corporate leadership and legal practice. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Decisive Dividend Corporation since 2021, James was also the CEO from the company's inception in 2012 until May 2021, guiding the corporation in acquiring established companies for consistent dividend growth. Prior to this, James worked at Pushor Mitchell LLP from 1999 to August 2022, where roles included Associate, Partner, Managing Partner, and Associate Counsel, focusing on various business and real estate law matters, corporate transactions, and compliance. Earlier in their career, James served as a lawyer at Berge and Company from 1995 to 1999. Academically, James holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alberta.
