James Miller has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. James started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Electronic Theatre Controls in 1993 and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they joined SAIC as an Embedded Systems Engineer and remained with the company until 2014. From 2004 to 2008, James worked as an Independent Consultant, providing design and development consulting services in electrical and software/firmware engineering. James then joined Quake Global in 2014 and held the position of Director of Hardware Development until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, James served as the VP of Engineering at Quake Global. Their most recent position is Director of Engineering at Decision Sciences, which they started in 2019.
James Miller has a comprehensive education history in the fields of engineering. James began their education in 1990 at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona where they studied Aerospace Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. This lasted until 1997. James then continued their studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
