Edvardas Skupas has extensive work experience in the insurance industry in the Baltic region. Edvardas is currently the Head of the Baltic Region at Decision Sciences Company since December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Council at BMI Alumni Association starting from November 2020.

From 2017 to 2021, Skupas worked at Compensa Vienna Insurance Group, where they held the position of Manager of the Standart Products Unit.

From 2009 to 2015, they served as the Director of the products, pricing, and underwriting department at UAB DK "PZU LIETUVA". During their time there, they achieved significant milestones such as turning around the product and client portfolio from a loss to a profit, expanding the team, changing pricing principles, and launching new products in Latvia and Estonia.

Skupas also has experience working at If P&C Insurance, where they held multiple roles from 1999 to 2009. Edvardas was the Deputy Manager of the Baltic Product and Underwriting department, responsible for integrating the Lithuanian team into the Pan Baltic structure. Edvardas also served as the Underwriting Director and a member of the board of If Lithuania, where they successfully launched a new insurance company in Lithuania and managed product development, risk experts, and operational risks.

Before their time at If P&C Insurance, Skupas worked at Lietuvos draudimas, AB, in various roles such as Manager of the commercial clients insurance division, Actuary, and Property insurance manager.

Overall, Skupas has a strong background in insurance operations, product development, pricing, risk management, and team leadership in the Baltic region.

Edvardas Skupas completed their professional board member education at the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance in 2016. In 2011, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the BMI Executive Institute, where their field of study was Business Administration and Management, General. Earlier in their education, from 1990 to 1995, Skupas obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University.
