J. Lee Meihls has over 40 years of experience as a trial consultant. J. Lee owned their own firm, Trial Partners, for 20 years before joining DecisionQuest as an Executive Vice President in 2023. J. Lee is nationally recognized for their expertise in jury selection, witness preparation, and developing effective trial strategies.

J. Lee Meihls holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Cognitive Sciences from UC San Diego, which was obtained between 1977 and 1983. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from UC San Diego, completed from 1977 to 1979. Their undergraduate education was also pursued at UC San Diego, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from 1974 to 1976. Lastly, between 1972 and 1974, J. Lee Meihls studied Political Science and Classics at UCLA, although no degree information was provided for this period.
