Jeff Cates is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Decian Inc. since June 2018, Jeff specializes in analyzing and enhancing network environments while focusing on updates in accordance with security best practices. Previously, as IT Infrastructure Manager at Carla's Pasta, Jeff developed project plans for server migration, managed VMware environments, and oversaw significant cost reductions through virtualization. Jeff’s earlier roles include Network/System Administrator at Corbin Russwin, IT Analyst at USI Insurance Services, and Desktop Support Engineer at BancTec, where technical support and system improvements were a primary focus. Jeff holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Gateway Technical College.
