Matthias Eigenmann is an experienced legal professional serving as Data Protection Officer and Legal Counsel for Decentriq since August 2022, while also being the Owner and Senior Legal Consultant at own.legal since July 2020. In addition, Matthias is a Senior Legal Consultant for AWK Group AG and Stadtspital Zürich since December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Legal Consultant at The Adecco Group, providing support on data protection and IT law matters, and a Manager position at PwC Switzerland, leading legal workstreams for technology initiatives. Matthias has also worked as an Associate at id est avocats, advising a diverse client base, and completed an internship at Staiger, Schwald & Partner, after earning an MLaw degree from Université de Fribourg and additional academic experience in European and international law at Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
