Rouhin Deb, Ph.D., currently serves as an expert mentor to MGNF fellows at the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, and holds the position of Chief Economist at the Chief Minister's Secretariat in the Government of Assam, India. In addition to these roles, Rouhin is an active columnist for multiple publications, including Financial Express, The Times Of India, Business Standard, The Economic Times, Deccan Herald, and Business Line, all since mid-2021. Rouhin also contributes as an expert to the Observer Research Foundation and has been a visiting professor at the Development Management Institute in Patna, where a course on Leveraging Public Services for Development was taught to MBA students. Rouhin earned a Ph.D. in Strategy/Business Policy from the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, and a BTech in Civil Engineering from Tezpur University.
