Kathy Tong is a Quantitative Venture Investor at Decasonic, focusing on early-stage investments in Web3, AI, social finance, and gaming/metaverse since February 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an Index Analyst at Centiva Capital, where responsibilities spanned index rebalance strategy, projections, and risk attribution from October 2020 to July 2023. Additionally, at Virtu Financial, Kathy worked in Index & ETF Research, predicting equity index changes and providing market flow research for institutional clients from November 2018 to October 2020. Earlier positions at Manulife involved roles as an Equity Risk Oversight Analyst and Co-op Analyst, while beginning a career with co-op roles at RBC and Manulife focused on financial analysis and product management. Kathy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and completed a Machine Learning Engineering Bootcamp at UC San Diego Extended Studies in December 2023.
