Gareth Jones is an experienced professional in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Professional Development for McKinsey & Company in the UK, Ireland, and Israel since April 2016. Prior roles at McKinsey included Manager of Professional Development and Practice Expert in Healthcare Systems & Services. In addition to work at McKinsey, Gareth is a member of the Charitable Purposes Committee at DEBRA UK since April 2023. Prior to McKinsey, Gareth held various management positions at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust between 2010 and 2016, including Deputy Head of Operations and General Manager for the Paediatric & Adolescent Division. Gareth began a career in clinical science at Royal Free NHS Trust and contributed to the Medical Education England Healthcare Science programme board. Educational achievements include an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from UCL and degrees in Biochemistry and Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
