David L. Smith, PMP is currently the Engineering Director at deBotech, Inc. since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Joe Gibbs Racing for over 15 years, starting in 2005 as a Senior Engineer - Project Manager and ending in March 2021.

David L. Smith, PMP, began their education by obtaining an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD from the State University of New York at Delhi from 2000 to 2002. David L. then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, David obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2020. David L. also completed a PMP Exam Prep Course at the Project Management Academy, although the specific years of enrollment are not provided.
