John Seybert is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in insurance law. Currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Dearborn Group since September 2016, John provides guidance to business teams on various insurance products and handles regulatory compliance issues. Previously, John was a Partner at Sedgwick LLP for a decade, where representation of insurers in over 200 court actions involving benefits claims under ERISA, COBRA, Medicare, and Medicaid was a key responsibility. Earlier in their career, John held the position of Associate Attorney at Rivkin Radler LLP, focusing on litigation related to life, disability, and managed care. John holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Finance from Lehigh University College of Business.
