Dean Markley is an accomplished entrepreneur and designer with extensive experience in the music industry. Since 2007, Dean Markley has been the Owner/President of Dean Markley Electronics, LLC, focusing on the design, production, and marketing of acoustic and electric lead amplifiers. Since 1972, Dean Markley has also led Dean Markley Strings, Inc., where efforts include product development and advertising campaigns. Earlier in Dean Markley's career, from July 1969 to October 1974, Dean Markley owned and operated a successful retail music store in Santa Clara, CA. Dean Markley’s education includes studies at Topeka Technical College in IBM Tab & Wiring and Music, as well as a high school diploma from Bennington High School.
