Kyle Kasten, FLMI, is a seasoned professional in the field of financial underwriting, currently serving as Senior Financial Underwriter at Dean Health Plan, Inc. since June 2020. Prior to this role, Kasten held various positions including Underwriter at ProAssurance and Director of Individual Underwriting at Coventry Health Care. At Coventry, Kasten significantly expanded the Individual Underwriting department, standardized policies across markets, and established essential procedures and metrics for risk assessment and training. Kasten’s experience also includes leadership roles at Hallmark Services Corporation and Underwriting Consultants of America, Inc., along with early beginnings in underwriting at companies such as Conseco Services, Celtic Insurance, and Connecticut National Life. Kasten earned a BBA degree in Finance, Law, and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
