Derek Johnson, CPA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Presently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Dean Health Plan, Inc. since October 2018, Derek has held positions including Financial Analyst and Internal Auditor. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Assurance Associate and Assurance Associate at RSM US LLP from November 2016 to September 2018. Earlier in Derek’s career, roles included Office Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and multiple internships at Thrivent Financial focused on mutual fund accounting. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, complemented by foundational education at Burnsville High School.
