David Nguyen has over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and engineering management. David began their career in 2007 as a Computer Science Lab Assistant at the University of California, Irvine. In 2009, they worked as a Software Development Intern at SafeNet Mykotronx and as a Development Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at SafeNet. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Software Engineer at EXO U Inc., where they were the feature lead for mDNS, authentication system, and encryption/decryption APIs. David also architected the authentication system using SAML/OpenToken/OpenID for use with a local or remote Active Directory. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Framehawk Inc., where they maintained the product through new features and bug fixing. David also designed and implemented the caching feature and researched and developed the SAML authentication process needed to implement the Single Sign-On feature. Since 2016, they have been an Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer at Dealpath.

David Nguyen attended UC Irvine from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering.
