Dr Kristina V.

Senior Lecturer, Health at Deakin University

Dr. Kristina V. is a highly experienced academic and clinical professional in the fields of health, nutrition, and dietetics. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in Health at Deakin University since February 2024 and an Adjunct Research Fellow at Victoria University since June 2017, Dr. V. has been instrumental in pioneering innovative teaching practices, particularly in the design and delivery of food and nutrition modules within a block model framework. With a diverse background that includes roles such as Project Officer for a hospital-acquired malnutrition research project, Honorary Research Fellow at Cancer Council Victoria, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin, Dr. V. has contributed significantly to both research and clinical nutrition. Previous experience includes consulting as a Clinical Dietitian at Ranges Medical and various teaching positions at Victoria University, complemented by a robust educational foundation consisting of a PhD, Master's Degree in Dietetics, and Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Nutritional Therapy from Victoria University.
