Janke Rentrop is an experienced urban designer currently working at De Zwarte Hond since June 2022. Previously, Janke Rentrop held the position of Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin and Tutor at Universität Kassel from April 2017 to March 2022, focusing on urban planning. Additional experience includes project-related work with KARO* Architekten, a student position at tobe Stadt, an internship with RMP Stephan Lenzen Landschaftsarchitekten, and a tutoring role in the field of Fine Arts at Universität Kassel. Janke Rentrop completed a Master of Science in Urban Design and a Bachelor of Science in Stadt- und Regionalplanung at the University of Kassel, earning the master's degree between 2018 and 2021 and the bachelor's degree from 2014 to 2018. Prior experience includes a voluntary ecological year with Landesgartenschau Gießen 2014 from August 2013 to September 2014.
