Marieke Braks currently serves as a member of the supervisory board at both De Zellingen and SWZzorg since 2023. In addition, Braks has been the chair of the Committee of Expertise Centers for Long-Term Care of Low Volume and High Complexity at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport since October 2019. Recent experience includes a role as interim director of operations for Helmond-Peelland and the Specialist Center for Eating Disorders at GGZ Oost Brabant in early 2024. Braks has an extensive background in management, notably as Director of Long-Term Care at Coöperatie VGZ from 2012 to 2022, and prior positions at Delta Lloyd and OHRA, where responsibilities included operations management and change management. Academic credentials include a degree from HAN University of Applied Sciences and specialized leadership training.
