Sang Townsley has extensive experience in career development and education, currently serving as the Career Development Manager for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at De Montfort University since November 2012, and previously as Employability Officer. Prior roles include Careers Education and Development Manager at Connexions Leicestershire, where responsibilities included enhancing Careers Education across local schools and managing a team, as well as serving as a Careers Adviser at the University of Leicester. Sang also directed the Way Ahead project at Aimghigher Leicestershire, focusing on support for Looked After Children transitioning to Higher Education. Early career roles included Area Manager at Connexions Leicestershire and Careers Adviser at Hampshire Careers and Guidance Services. Educational qualifications consist of a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology, and Education.
