Ruben Stift is an experienced journalist and editor currently working as a freelance contributor for NRC since March 2024 and as a writer/web editor for De Groene Amsterdammer since September 2022. Stift also serves as an editor for Red Pers and has experience in hospitality with De Beierd. Notably, Stift assisted with research for a book by Marc Chavannes for De Correspondent from November 2023 to January 2024. Previous roles include editor for Progressief Café/De Onderstroom and writer for the DEBAT Magazine affiliated with Universiteit Leiden. Stift holds a Dual Master's degree in Journalism and Media from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Leiden University, complemented by a minor in Journalism and New Media.
