Frans Sulmon has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1985, they worked as a Process Engineer at 3M until 1990. Frans then joined Borealis as a Maintenance Logistics Team Lead from 1990 to 1995. In 2000, they transitioned to PwC as a Senior Project Manager until 2006. Frans then joined TME in 2004, where they held various roles such as Senior Program Manager, Portfolio Program Manager for Aftersales and Sales & Marketing, and was involved in implementing a lean organization project. Frans worked at TME until January 2011. In 2011, Frans joined deCRONOSgroep as a Senior Program Manager, where they supported complex projects for all Cronos competence centers, coached project managers, and assisted in proposal creation and selling. Frans also served as the Chairman of the Board of Owners at Residentie Malibu Beach since October 2014. Most recently, in 2021, Frans became a Project Lead at Astena.

Frans Sulmon attended various educational institutions throughout their career. In 1980, they enrolled at RUG (unspecified) and pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering, which they completed in 1985.
