Hizir Cengiz currently serves as a Bestuurslid at Stichting Luis in de Pels since October 2022 and has been associated with De Correspondent as a Correspondent Twijfel since September 2018, also taking on multiple roles as Gastcorrespondent Afkomst. In addition, Hizir Cengiz has been a Freelance journalist since October 2016 and joined Holiday Fotoservice in July 2016, working in Fotoservice Madurodam. A notable upcoming position includes Redacteur Zomergasten 2024 at VPRO from June to August 2024. Hizir Cengiz participated in a Masterclass at Rechtbank Den Haag in early 2022 and previously contributed as a Blogger for Scholieren.com from October 2015 to November 2016. In May 2015, Hizir Cengiz received the Haags Jeugdlintje for significant contributions as the chairperson of the student council at Aloysius College. Hizir Cengiz studied Rechtsgeleerdheid at Leiden University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in July 2021 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Straf- en strafprocesrecht.
