Rutger van Zuidam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in founding and advising various organizations across multiple sectors. Currently, Rutger serves as a Supervisory Board Member for Natuurmuseum Fryslân and DCTerra, while also being the Founder of Odyssey, which focuses on enabling collaborative futures through an open-source web3 metaverse. Previous roles include Faculty Member at Singularity University, Founder and Advisor of the Cherrytwist Foundation, and Co-founder/CEO of Senanga. Early career achievements include commercial leadership positions at Fundament All Media and Accepté, where Rutger developed community-driven software solutions. Rutger holds a Bachelor’s degree in ICT from Hanze University.
