Zafer Çavdar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science and software development. Zafer is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Dcipher Analytics, a company that focuses on providing a SaaS-based toolbox for accelerating and automating the process of turning unstructured text into insights using NLP technology. Prior to this, Zafer worked at Kairos Future as a Data Science Team Leader, where they contributed to the backend development of a cloud data analytics service written in Python. Zafer also worked as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at Kairos Future, where they used Apache Spark and Elastic Search for various numerical and text analysis tasks. Before their time at Kairos Future, Zafer worked at Koç University as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and a Machine Learning Research Project Assistant. During this time, they worked on projects related to rhythm analysis and developed machine learning algorithms. Zafer also gained experience in software development as an iOS Software Development Intern at Monitise MEA, where they developed an iOS app using Firebase services. Additionally, Zafer worked as a Section Leader at the Stanford-Koç CS Bridge Program, where they taught coding to high school students using the curriculum of Stanford's introductory programming methodology class.

Zafer Çavdar's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled in Bahçeşehir High School for Science and Technology, where they studied as a Science Student until 2014. After completing high school, they attended Koç University from 2014 to 2019. At Koç University, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Additionally, in 2018, Zafer participated in an exchange program at The University of British Columbia, where they focused on Computer Science.

Throughout their academic journey, Zafer also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they received the IBM Bluemix - Practitioner Essentials certificate from IBM. Furthermore, in June 2019, they earned the Artificial Intelligence Track Program Certificate and the Data Analytic Track Program Certificate from Koç University.
