Mason Lewis, PE has a diverse work history spanning different industries. Mason began their career as an Estimating Intern at Flatiron Construction from 2009 to 2010. Mason returned to Flatiron Construction in 2012 and 2013 as an Estimating Intern and then transitioned to KPFF Consulting Engineers as a Structural Engineering Intern in 2014. Following this, Mason joined DCI Engineers in the same year and worked as a Structural Project Engineer until 2019, gaining experience in managing large-scale construction projects and developing strong communication skills. In 2019, they shifted their focus to education and worked as an English Teacher with iTutorGroup, where they learned essential teaching skills such as Total Physical Response (TPR). Mason continued to enhance their teaching abilities by joining Whales English in 2020, teaching English to young learners in engaging and interesting ways. Mason then moved to Magic Ears in 2021, further developing their skills in teaching critical English skills to children. Currently, Mason is working as a Project Engineer at DCI Engineers, starting from 2022. Their various experiences have provided him with a solid foundation in both engineering and teaching, which allows him to bring a unique perspective to their current role.
Mason Lewis, PE, obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University from the year 2010 to 2014. In addition to their educational background, they have also obtained a 20-Hour Micro-credential in Teaching IELTS Exam Prep from Bridge Education Group in December 2021.
