Matt Covert is an experienced planner currently serving as a Senior Planner at Facet since September 2023. Prior to this role, Matt worked at LDC, Inc. for five years, starting as an Associate Planner and advancing to Senior Planner. Matt's earlier experience includes serving as a Community Planner at the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission, where responsibilities involved preparing regional land use plans and engaging with community stakeholders. Additional roles include Green Downtown Program Manager at 1000 Friends of Wisconsin and Farm-to-School Specialist at REAP Food Group. Matt holds a Master of Science in Environment and Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University.
