Alissa Lorentz, MSM has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alissa began their career as a Mail & Document Service Associate at Pitney Bowes, where they provided office support for multiple companies. Later, at Denison University, they worked as a University TV Station Programmer, responsible for preparing programming updates and working with press releases.
Alissa then transitioned to a marketing role at Novelis, where they collaborated on developing branding and marketing strategies. Alissa also served as a Marketing Specialist, responsible for research, design, and development of collateral materials. During their time at CACI International Inc, Alissa worked as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator 2, creating marketing solutions for clients such as the Department of Veterans Affairs and National Security Agency. Alissa also served as a Marketing Assistant II, managing social media profiles and creating marketing videos.
At Mascaro Construction Company, LP., Alissa worked as a Marketing/Proposal Manager, overseeing marketing efforts and proposal development. Alissa then joined Black Box Network Services as a Senior Creative Designer, where they developed creative marketing solutions for corporate marketing.
Most recently, Alissa has been working at DCG Communications, initially as a Graphic Designer, supporting client accounts and contributing to creative growth. Alissa then progressed to the role of Senior Graphic Designer, overseeing designing operations and ensuring client satisfaction. Currently, they hold the position of Art Director, leading and mentoring a team of graphic designers, coordinating projects, and providing guidance to design managers and executive leadership.
Throughout their career, Alissa has demonstrated their ability to produce effective design solutions, meet deadlines, and communicate with clients and stakeholders. Their experience spans web design, print advertising, video production, trade show design, social media strategy, illustration, proposals, and brand identity development.
Alissa Lorentz, MSM, completed their education with a Masters of Science degree in Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, which they pursued from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Denison University between 2002 and 2006, majoring in Communication and Studio Art. Alissa's education started with a high school diploma from the Franklin Regional School District, which they received in 2002.
