Surender Sharma has over 20 years of work experience in IT project management and has held various roles in different companies. Surender started their career as a Software Engineer at Datapro Infoworld Ltd. in 1994 and later moved on to HCL Technologies, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer.

In 1999, Surender joined CNSI as a Sr. System Software Specialist and stayed with the company until 2006. During this time, they gained valuable experience in system software.

In 2007, Surender worked at Wells Fargo Bank as a Project Manager and successfully completed two projects related to operational excellence and collateral workflow enhancements.

Surender then joined Baltimore Gas & Electric as a Technical Project Manager, where they managed projects related to SOA technical design and infrastructure services.

In 2008, Surender became a Sr. Technical Project Manager at IT Basics Inc. and worked on a project for Maryland Department of Transportation. Surender implemented LANDesk desktop management and server consolidation, resulting in cost reduction and improved operational reliability.

Surender then joined Keane as a Principal Consultant in 2009, where they worked as a Project Manager for U.S Courts Administrative Office.

Since 2011, Surender has been working at DCCA as an IT Project Manager and Scrum master. Surender manages healthcare projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and establishes a Scrum team governance framework.

Surender holds certifications in PMP, CSM, ITIL, and SAFe Agilist, showcasing their expertise in project management and Agile methodologies.

Surender Sharma obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, where they studied from 1988 to 1991. Surender then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the same university, completing it from 1991 to 1994.
