Malbea "Mally" LaPete is an experienced graphic and 508 compliance analyst with a robust background in visual information and design. Currently serving as a 508 Compliance Analyst at DB Consulting Group, Inc. since February 2014, LaPete ensures that PDFs conform to accessibility standards. Previous roles include Graphic Artist at Creative Circle, where LaPete developed templates and instructional materials, and Graphic Design Consultant, providing design services to Fortune 500 clients. LaPete also served as a Visual Information Specialist at Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics, contributing to the CDC's flagship publication. Earlier experience includes work with Aquent and CH2M HILL as a graphic artist and senior word processing operator, respectively. LaPete holds a Web Design Certification from Emory University and is a graduate of the Landmark Worldwide Core Curriculum.
