John Power has an extensive work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. John started their career in 1972 as a Commander at the Daytona Beach Police Department, where they served until 1996. In 1996, they joined the International Speedway Corporation as a Sr. Director of Security at the Daytona International Speedway, where they are currently employed.

John Power attended Rollins College from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
