Keerthana Kumar has over 6 years of work experience in the tech industry. Keerthana began their career in 2014 as a Residence Assistant, Communications and Alumni Assistant, Proctor, and Project Assistant Co-op Student at Dalhousie University. In 2015, they became a Microsoft Student Partner, and in 2016, they took on roles as a Product Development Analyst at Eyeball Inc. (now Velo Industries Ltd.), and a System Analyst (Intern) at Jazz Aviation LP. In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University and a Community Manager Halifax (Part time) at Lighthouse Labs. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Back-end Developer at Affinio and a Software Developer at Coinsquare. Keerthana currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Daylight.

Keerthana Kumar attended College Of North Atlantic - Qatar from 2012 to 2014 and obtained an Information Technology degree in Software. Keerthana then attended Dalhousie University from 2014 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science.
