Shankar Lal has extensive experience in the field of journalism, currently serving as a Senior Assignment Editor at DawnNews TV since January 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing Out Station reporters. Prior to this role, Shankar worked as a Junior Input Manager at SAMAA TV from January 2011 to January 2012, also managing Out Station reporters. Shankar's career began at ARY NEWS, where shankar was a Producer from June 2007 to February 2011, in charge of the regional bulletin. Shankar completed an M.A. in Literature at Government High School Thatta, studying from 1999 to 2001.
